Strategic initiatives are one of the many ways the Lutheran Community Foundation uses the collective voice of donors to address pressing and unmet needs facing our shared community.
What is an initiative?
An initiative is a Foundation program that begins with input from LCF donors. The Foundation then works with community partners to address these issues and affect growth, change and renewal using the LCF Community Fund. Initiatives are not designed to be large-scale comprehensive solutions to issues. Instead, they represent key strategies and activities that the Foundation believes will lead our community on the right path to answers and change.
