The Center for Changing Lives, a project of Lutheran Social Service (LSS) of Minnesota includes 48-units of new affordable housing as well as job training, counseling, financial services, wellness education, after-school activities, a neighborhood organization and Messiah Lutheran Church. And a charter school will be starting next door.
This nexus of activity is designed to transform lives and transform the inner-city community. A grant from the LCF Community Fund, in collaboration with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans' Employee Giving Campaign, helps LSS reach an ambitious fundraising goal -- and an ambitious vision for the community.
