Are you interested in being more educated about global issues? Consider taking part in Lutheran World Relief's Virtual University.
Virtual U is a roster of eight monthly classes, taught by a diverse set of experts from all over the world including a mix of LWR staff and guest presenters. You can choose to participate in one or all of the courses.
How does the Virtual U work? It's very simple. You can attend via toll-free conference call or via the internet to enjoy live audiovisuals. Time is given for live question and answers. The nation-wide Virtual U community is informal and friendly; the school dress code is bunny slippers.
Registration is easy - just go to LWR.org/university. There you will also find class descriptions, background reading, and teacher bios.
