Homeless and needy people are served through a program of spiritual, physical, material and emotional assistance coupled with education and public awareness.
In 2007, 736 families received assistance (857 adults and 348 children) with services ranging from clothing, furniture, household items, meals, emergency shelter and Traveler's Aid all provided at no cost to the individual.
One individual had lost his job, apartment and was on the verge of losing his car. We were able to provide him with lodging, meals and connect him with an employer who gave him a chance and is now living independently again.
Another individual had been in treatment for drugs several time but was unable to stay clean. He entered our program and has had an extended period of sobriety and is working for us and has re-established contact with his family.
