The grant provides general funding for projects within Calvary Lutheran Church and School. Calvary utilized the grant to hire a full-time business manager. The grant provides partial funding for this program.
The mission of Calvary Lutheran Church and School (CLCS) is to engage people in Christ through Connecting, Learning, Caring, and Serving (CLCS). Calvary engages people on the South side of Indianapolis and serves the local community through both English and Tamil language services. Each year members serve in local missions and several international missions. Calvary is a congregation of approximately 1100 communicant members. The School serves approximately 260 students in grades Pre-K through 8th grade.
