$33,213 from a Donor Advised Fund
This grant will help to temporarily engage the expertise and teaching service of historial theology scholars who are not presently members of the Seminary's full-time faculty as a 'visiting professor.' Each visiting professor is engaged by the Seminary to teach for one or more academic quarters annually. Through this arrangement, the faculty is supplemented with the talents of an outside expert who can teach, lead or counsel in the work of forming pastors, deaconesses and other Christian leaders.
Concordia Seminary serves church and world by providing theological education and leadership, centered in the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, for the formation of pastors, missionaries, deaconesses and leaders in the name of the Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod.
