While there are many opportunities to support the mission and ministry of the Institute of Lutheran Theology (ILT), some of ILT's work calls for monies not available through regular gifts.  The ILT's New Reformation Endowment Fund strengthens the Institute in our mission of training pastors, teachers, and lay people to know and proclaim the true gospel of Jesus Christ.  ILT's ministry is grounded in Scripture and the Lutheran Confessions equipping all to confess and proclaim the Good News in Jesus the Christ.

HOW DO YOU WANT TO GIVE?

Through the Lutheran Community Foundation, thousands of donors are giving in ways that match their interests and circumstances, so that together we can spread joy and change lives. Here's how:

GIVING TO THE FUND GIVING TO THE FUND

The tradition of charitable giving is as old as Lutheranism itself.  During the Reformation, Martin Luther called upon people to establish a "common chest" from which food, clothing and other necessities could be distributed to people in need.

This tradition of giving and caring continues today.  And it doesn't require great wealth to make a gift.  One hundred gifts of $100 to the New Reformation Endowment Fund go as far as one gift of $10,000.

Because we use only a portion of the annual earnings of ILT's Endowment Fund, the Fund continues to grow and provide a permanent source of income to support the Institute's mission and ministry.

The ILT Endowment Committee, appointed by the ILT Board of Directors, serves as stewards of the fund.
