Lutheran Counseling Center is a ministry of Christian mental health professionals and a Recognized Service Organization of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
The agency helped individuals, couples and families dealing with issues such as grief, loss of a loved one, marital problems, job loss, depression, anxiety, suicide, parent/child relationships, unwanted pregnancy, abuse, sexual issues, chemical dependency, anger, terminal disease issues and many more.
More than 1,000 Minnesotans were helped in 2007 thanks in part by the funds provided by the grant.
The grant money was raised as part of the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans employee giving campaign of 2005.
