Sacred Road Ministries primarily serves the Indian peoples from the Yakima reservation. Their mission is to love God and to love our brothers and sisters in Native America by living out and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ in word and deed; to mobilize fellow believers, to meet the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of the people of White Swan and reservations nationwide.

Stacey, a member on the Yakima reservation tells of how she found Jesus as she was contemplating suicide to try to get rid of the past.

"That was in 1996," she says. "I am now a single mother with two children who are the apple of my eye! I have learned that the Creator, who we worship in the longhouse, is the Creator Christians worship. I also learned that I can go to the longhouse (to participate in cultural events like feasts, etc) but believe in the Christian way also. My two children and I have been baptized."

"I have brought my children up the longhouse way, but now I'm letting them know that Jesus Christ is someone who will always listen. God Bless! (Say'yep um Ah-toot wy.)"

Sacred Road Ministries are in the early stages of preparation to build a multi-purpose facility that would serve as a church, after school tutoring, youth ministry, basketball leagues, programs for the elders, clothes closet, food bank, library, children's ministry, housing for spring and summer ministry teams, etc.
